Micromax In Note 1 – The Great Indian Comeback
India is a huge market for smartphone manufacturers in the world. Indians are known for their sense of choice, budget picks, and buy smartphones that fit their pockets and add value to their money.
Still, the number of smartphones launched and used in India are made by international smartphone brands. We are all used to see Chinese smartphones launched now and then in the mid-range and budget smartphone market.
Brands like Xiaomi, Realme, Poco, and others launch some of the best smartphones in the 7k-15k range, but there is a glaring issue with them.
Recently, Micromax made a comeback to address the Anti-China sentiment going on in the country since the border conflict. Well, this is what the CEO of Micromax is saying, not me.
Talking about the comeback, the Micromax In Note 1 was launched around last week, and since then, Indians can’t keep calm. In fact, the phones Micromax In Note 1 and Micromax In 1b have already been sold out in the pre-booking stage itself.
The feat achieved by the Indian smartphone manufacturer is phenomenal, and we will tell you why this happened.
Micromax has had a reputation for launching re-branded Chinese smartphones in the past that led the brand to go down from the top to under the ground. You cannot blame them because people trusted the brand for its Indian origin and they felt betrayed.
But this time, Micromax did not make the same mistake and the result, sold out before the phones officially launch. Keeping the whole past aside, let us move on towards the specifications.
The In Note 1 comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display. The screen size seems perfect for a note device, and the FHD+ display is something new in the segment. Not only that, it is equipped with a 48 MP primary camera and a 5 MP ultrawide camera, 2 MP depth, and macro sensors. The quad-camera setup is a rare proposition at the price of INR 10,999 and INR 12,499.
It also comes with a larger than life, 5000 mAh battery that will provide you with all the juice you need. The Mediatek Helio G80 is used for providing enhanced performance and a great gaming experience. Although the G80 chipset by Mediatek is a gaming processor, you should expect a few things missing while playing high graphic games like Rogue Heist and FreeFire.
Micromax In Note 1 comes with two variants. One is the 4 GB/ 64 GB variant and another is the 4GB/128 GB variant. Both the variants support expandable storage up to 256 GB. Also, the new thing with Micromax devices right now is the reverse charging feature.
The reverse charging feature was one of the features that only mid-rangers and high-end smartphones offered.
One of the biggest problems with the software experience in most smartphones at the targeted price range is the ads and bloatware issue. We all know that Chinese smartphones provide amazing value for money smartphones, but they can never or hardly get rid of bloatware and ads. Also, their android skins are kinda buggy sometimes.
To tackle this issue, Micromax came out with a much better, stock android UI for everyone. There is no bloatware and no ads out of the box, and the device comes with just the Google apps. Isn’t that worth your money?
You also get guaranteed Android updates for 2 years, which is a big thing again. Micromax has offered a lot of great perks, and the device is just perfect for the price it comes for.
I think that Micromax has made an impact with the comeback, and people are loving it, no matter what. The whole idea of stock Android, guaranteed Android updates, a massive 5000 mAh battery, and of course, the reverse charging feature are worth your money.
I would still recommend that you take a look at the performance in real-life, watch some review videos, and then decide whether you should buy it or not. For me, I personally feel that the Micromax In Note 1 is worth your money for sure.
